Our mission · Darling Giordani
Ministry and medicine.
A mission for Haiti.
Darling Giordani brings more than twenty years in the medical field and a life in Christian ministry to RSVP. After years of giving personally to Haitian organizations, she founded RSVP to take a closer role in supporting children and families.

For years, Darling donated her own money to Haitian organizations that were helping children and families. She valued the work, but she also wanted to understand the needs more closely, become more involved in the solutions, and create a way for other people to support that work with her.
That desire inspired her to establish Resurrection Morning RSVP, Inc. The organization brings ministry and medicine together to raise and steward charitable support for children’s food needs and expanded educational opportunity in Haiti.
We support schools and communities in approved regions of Haiti through trusted contacts and resources. Conversations with community leaders help us understand present needs and prepare for what comes next.
What RSVP does
Practical support, rooted in Christian faith.
RSVP supports schools through teachers, meals, Bibles, and chaplaincy. We also hear from new schools seeking support. Our board considers these conversations alongside the needs of approved schools and communities, the resources available, and the practical work of delivering help. Clean water and other needs remain areas for future board-approved initiatives.

Darling’s years of service.
More than twenty years in the medical field
Darling is a lifelong learner who has devoted more than 20 years to serving others in the medical field. Her passion for healing led her to pursue advanced education in both medicine and nursing, giving her a broad clinical perspective and a deep commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care.
Her experience spans primary care, critical care, cardiovascular care, veteran health, and neurological rehabilitation.
“Leave the world better
than you found it.”A conviction Darling shares in her biography
From a free clinic to children’s ministry
Darling has participated in medical missions and community outreach, volunteered as a healthcare provider at a free clinic serving people experiencing homelessness, and cared for underserved populations as a Faith Community Nurse.
Her love for children has also led to many years in children’s and youth ministries, where she has mentored young people, nurtured their faith, and encouraged their educational growth.
Fluent in English, French, and Haitian Creole, Darling believes investing in the next generation can strengthen communities. She calls her life’s work “M&M”—Ministry and Medicine—two passions she believes God has woven together throughout her journey.
Darling also enjoys singing, a lifelong source of joy and another way she expresses her faith and connects with others.

Christian faith
Our love for Jesus Christ is why we serve.
That faith takes a practical form in RSVP’s support for children and families, its provision of Bibles, and its school chaplaincy.
Darling’s faith has guided her work in nursing, medicine, ministry, and service, and it remains part of our identity.
Chaplaincy and faith-based mentoring are offered by choice. Children and families can receive education, food, water, and other practical support whether or not they take part.
