Faith & chaplaincy

Christian care, offered by choice.

RSVP’s Christian mission includes voluntary chaplaincy and faith-based mentoring as board-approved initiatives.

Christian care may include Bible teaching and personal encouragement, planned with trusted contacts and community leaders.

Participation is a choice

Chaplaincy and faith-based mentoring are offered by choice. Children and families can receive education, food, water, and other practical support whether or not they take part.

Board-approved initiative areas

Areas the board may consider.

Education, nourishment, water, agricultural opportunities, emergency support, and Christian care are areas the board may consider as current needs and resources allow. Proposed initiatives require board approval.

Classroom resources

Education resources may be considered through board-approved initiatives planned with trusted contacts and community leaders. Any proposal should fit an identified local need and a practical delivery plan.

Electricity and connection

Resources for learning and connection may be considered when local needs, delivery, and maintenance plans support them.

Food, water, and essentials

Nourishment, clean water, and essential supplies are areas for board-approved initiatives, based on current local needs and available resources.

Beyond the classroom

RSVP’s broader mission includes water, agricultural opportunities, emergency support, and resources for learning and connection. The board plans initiatives with trusted contacts and community leaders as current needs and resources allow.

Illustrations show possible initiative settings; the school-meal photograph documents past support. Specific work depends on current local needs and board approval.
